About the Boatsmartz Marine Studies Scholarship

At Boatsmartz, innovation in marine technology drives everything we do. We're proud to support the next generation of marine industry professionals with our annual $500 scholarship for first-year students pursuing marine-related studies.

• Award Amount: $500 CAD
• Application Deadline: September 30th, 2025
• Winner Announcement: October 25th, 2025

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be enrolled or accepted into a Fall 2025 full-time in a marine-related program at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada or the United States
• Must be a first-year student
• Must be a Canadian or US citizen and resident

Application Requirements

• Complete the online application form (requires a Google account, if you do not have one, you can create a free Google account here)
• Provide proof of current enrolment in a marine program
• Submit a personal statement (500 words maximum) describing your interest in marine studies and how you plan to contribute to the industry in a positive and innovative way

Selection Process

The scholarship recipient will be selected based on meeting all eligibility requirements and the strength of their personal statement. The winner will be notified by email.
